Thanks to Devonshire West Big Local funding the Animazing Story of Children’s Television has been at The Pavilion Cafe over the summer.
They welcomed an estimated 6,000 visitors to the exhibition since they opened in July and the exhibition will be continuing into the Autumn, including the October half term.
Visitors have come from Devonshire West, across the country and abroad to see this unique hands on exhibition, and have given amazing feedback.
One of the most popular activities is a virtual flight over Eastbourne seafront in our green screen studio.
They have continued to add further exhibits since the exhibition opened, including their live art show studio, Make It, and an interior model for their huge model spaceship the Hyperdrive, which was made from recycled parts during a workshop as part of the DC Learn Art in Action weekend.
100 school children from Bourne Primary School and Stafford Junior School have visited the exhibition who are able to visit for free thanks to our DWBL funding.
The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 5pm (4pm from 1st November) and admission is free.
